Day 17: Rest Day Omeo

I didn’t get out of bed until 3pm today. Well,  that’s not totally true. I got up,  made us breakfast,  then went back to bed until 3pm. It was so lovely reading and watching and planning, all from the comfort of my bed while it rained and rained outside. I belly laughed with Elaine on a phone call (sorry Elaine that I was laughing at all your building misfortunes, but I have not cry laughed like that for a long time – thank you!).

The pub at Omeo had a delicious,  surprise vegan curry, which made my day. Based on the menu,  I thought I’d have to have veggies and chips. Well done, Omeo pub chef!

It stopped raining late afternoon. What a perfectly timed rest day. Wonder what the level is like in the creeks and rivers…
