Day 6 and 7: Rest Days

We had a pretty leisurely day today. A sleep in followed by yummy breakie (I recommend The Lott in Cooma), clothes washing in the laundromat, then hanging out in a reserve while our clothes dried on a Jubbie made clothes line.  After stocking up on provisions,  we headed to Old Adaminaby to stay the night in our tent but with access to an ensuite which ended up being a great arrangement.

We met a lovely couple,  Moya and Kevin, and their beautiful English Pointers, Coco and Artemis. I ended up spending a few hours on both evenings chatting with Moya while Jubble went fishing (alone on the first day and out on Kevin’s boat the second).  Was a really pleasant way to spend my rest days.

We went into Adaminaby for supplies to get me ready for heading out for the next three nights alone.  We of course had to sample the potato cakes (Jubble is an official,  self appointed potato cake/scallop taster) and they were delish!  Highly recommend if you’re passing through.

Chef Jublé made delicious pho for dinner,  with plenty left for the second night.

I’m starting to feel nervous about going out alone for the next few days. What am I doing???
